The Ademaj's family lawyer Leutrim Syla said in his closing statement that the three accused themselves have revealed the murder of Liridona Ademaj.

“In every hearing, it has only further confirmed what we have said, that this case would be revealed by the accused themselves, whether by trying to blame one another or attempting to cooperate against each other, but it has led to the same result. It is clear that if at the beginning there was coordination in the defense, in the end the defense of Granit Plava and Kushtrim Kokalla turned against Naim Murseli, trying to place all the blame on him, which is not the case. Indeed, the statements prove the guilt of the accused in full,” he said.

He called for life imprisonment for the murder of Liridona Ademaj.

“It has been proven that together, as an organized crime, by working jointly for a year, they planned this murder, and if in other murder cases life imprisonment has been imposed as the maximum sentence, we do not have a higher punishment, therefore we cannot say anything less than life imprisonment,” he said.

The lawyer of Liridona Ademaj’s family, Leutrim Syla, said that this case differs from others due to the planning and involvement of several individuals in the murder.

“There has never been a similar case where, unlike other cases where a woman is killed in a moment of rage, we have never had a case where three men planned for a year to kill a woman and then all try to justify themselves about who, how, and in what way it was done,” he said.
