The accused for the murder in KIA is sentenced to 25 years in prison
The accused for the murder in the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (KIA) is sentenced to 25 years in prison. For the murder that took place in September 2018. This was announced by the Basic Court in Prishtina.
“The Basic Court in Prishtina - Department for Serious Crimes has announced the verdict against the accused V.I., for the criminal offense ‘Aggravated Murder’ under Article 179 paragraph 1 item 1.5 of the CCRK, ‘Abduction’ under Article 194 paragraph 2 item 2.3 in conjunction with paragraph 1 of the CCRK and ‘Unauthorized Possession, Control or Possession of Weapons’ under Article 374 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo. The accused V.I., was found guilty and sentenced to a single sentence of imprisonment for a period of 25 (twenty-five) years, which will include the time spent in detention on remand from 04.09.2018.
