Thaçi doesn’t attend the hearing due to health reasons
Former Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi did not attend today's court hearing in The Hague, due to health problems and the need for medical consultations.
This was announced at the beginning of the hearing by his lawyer, Luka Misetic, who said that Thaçi was not feeling well, but that he had no other information since he had not communicated with him.
"I have no other information. The secretary of the hearing informed me that the client was not feeling well and could not attend today's hearing," he said.
Then the president of the Special Court, Charles Smith, confirmed that Thaçi has a health problem and had to consult a doctor.
After a few minutes of interruption of the session, the trial continued after Hashim Thaçi’s lawyer, Luka Misetic, said that Thaçi himself had signed the permission for the session to continue.
