The Mufti of Kosovo, Naim Tërnava, has congratulated Muslim believers on the beginning of the month of Ramadan. The head of the Islamic Community of Kosovo (BIK) has called on believers for good deeds and for maintaining unity.
At the beginning of his address, Tërnava expressed condolences for the death of photojournalist, Alban Bujari.
“On the occasion of the beginning of this blessed month, I advise my brothers and sisters wherever they are to fear God Almighty, compete in good deeds, command one another to do good, be patient, maintain unity and not be divided, cooperate in goodness, wisdom and piety, and stay away from all those sins that God has forbidden. This is because Ramadan is a great month, the month in which good deeds are multiplied and sins are forgiven for those who fast and pray with faith and piety, thus seeking the reward for their deeds,” said Terrnava.
Tërnava added that the month of Ramadan is a good opportunity that comes once a year and that fasting has benefits and wisdom
