Teachers infected with the coronavirus remain engaged in developing their online classes, although the Ministry of Education has set aside 1,000 additional norms which will be allocated to replace them. Although, the MES says that the Municipal Directorates of Education are responsible for replacing the infected teachers, the municipalities say that this plan is unfeasible.

Across the country, teachers who are in poor health condition due to Covid-19 infection are being replaced by their colleagues, while the SBASHK raises concerns that the latter, despite having overtime hours, are not being paid.
