The Tax Administration of Kosovo has recorded an increase in tax revenues for about 25 million euros more in the first months of this year compared to the same period last year. However, fiscal evasion remains a challenge for this tax institution.

The director of TAK, Ilir Murtezaj, in the interview for KosovaPress, spoke about TAK's activities in the fight against informality, the collection of tax revenues and the treatment of the entertainment sector in terms of taxation.

Murtezaj emphasized that they are working on identifying and creating data for individuals or businesses, such as hotels and restaurants, that have created capital gains, but have not paid taxes.
