The current mayor, also the candidate for mayor of Vushtrri from the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Xhafer Tahiri has voted. After voting, he said that today is a day for celebration. Tahiri called on citizens to come out and exercise their right to vote. In the race for the mayor of Vushtrri is the candidate of LDK, Xhafer Tahiri and that of PDK, Ferit Idrizi. In the first round of elections held on October 17, Tahiri won the trust of 9,956 citizens, while Idrizi managed to get the vote of 10,247 citizens.
