Tahiri: The Law on Public Officials violates human rights
The head of the Parliamentary Group of AAK, Besnik Tahiri, at the press conference held today, stated that the Government of Kosovo yesterday approved the Draft Law on Amendments and Supplements to the Law on Public Officials and did so without the approval of the EU of SIGMA.
He added that they are worried about the adoption of this law.
He said that Vetëvendosje, through this law, is politicizing the state administration, and with the 10 points that Tahiri presented, said that AAK opposes this draft law.
Tahiri said that through a legal process the capture of the state administration is aimed at, he said that they will not allow this and that they will turn to the Constitutional Court.
The Government of the Republic of Kosovo yesterday held a meeting electronically, where it voted on the draft law to amend and supplement the Law on Public Officials. In this meeting, the government made two decisions.
