The Head of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Tomash Szunyog, has reacted to yesterday's decision of the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, to dismiss the current chairwoman of the Central Election Commission, Valdete Daka, and to appoint Judge Kreshnik Radoniqi to this position. Ambassador Szunyog wrote on Twitter that it is important that all procedures are in accordance with Kosovo law and that the independence of the CEC is preserved.
