Switzerland actively supports Kosovo in rural water and sanitation

The Swiss ambassador to Kosovo, Thomas Kolly and Minister of Finance, Hykmete Bajrami signed today an agreement that extends the Switzerland's cooperation program throughout the country until 2022, with an additional CHF 560,000, thanks to this support, more than 600,000 people will have access to new or improved water supplies.

According to a statement of the MF since the beginning of this program in 2005, around CHF 60 Million in the total have been invested in rural water and sanitation services, both from Switzerland and Kosovo Government (central and local level).
