The Minister of Internal Affairs (MIA), Xhelal Sveçla, has sent for investigation to the Kosovo Police some contracts and irregularities that occurred during 2020 in the department he leads.

Reporting to the Committee on Public Finance Oversight, where the MIA audit report for the same year was reviewed, Sveçla said that he requested an investigation into the framework contract regarding food needs and allowances received at the Emergency Management Agency (EMA).
