Support staff warn of protest, gets support from the Nurses Union
The Kosovo Nurses Union considers the failure to execute salaries for almost 3 months now for the support staff accepted by the MoH, as support in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, unreasonable and a negligent approach in relation to these professionals.
The Kosovo Nurses Union says that in time it has asked the institutions, either through reactions or public statements, that the execution of salaries be done urgently, given the fact there are people who depend only on this salary.
"Also, the Union of Nurses of Kosovo has requested and demands that the contracts of these professionals be extended, while finding modalities to return to regular contracts, given the large shortage and extreme overload of nursing staff. Having said that, the Kosovo Nurses' Union fully supports the protest announced for the next day by our colleagues and considers it reasonable and legitimate.
