The Ministry of Health led by Armend Zemaj, in July 2020 had opened the competition for specialists, after four years without any competition, where 1,034 specialists would be accepted. But this competition was then opened also for specialists from the Presheva Valley, Montenegro, and Macedonia, in which case the number of accepted specialists increased to around 2000. For this competition, the Kosovo Doctors Chamber is requesting an audit by the current Minister Arben Vitia.

The President of the Kosovo Doctors Chamber, Pleurat Sejdiu told KosovaPress that in this competition were accepted about 2000 specialists, where due to the exceeded number now these specialists are just wandering the corridors of specialist clinics without being able to work.
