Social work centers face a shortage of workers

Centers for Social Work in Kosovo are faced with many challenges, but the most challenging remain the small number of social officers, the non-payment of guardianship as well as the non-payment of danger pay. The latter do not have spaces that offer access to everyone, even emergency funds are needed to strengthen emergency services. This was said by the leaders of the Centers for Social Work in the meeting held with the Committee on Health and Social Welfare during a round table on the topic "Work, achievements and challenges of the Centers for Social Work".

The director of the Center for Social Work in Gjilan, Mursel Zymberi, said that the standard of social work is not being implemented in any center in Kosovo, according to him, social officials are overburdened because, as he said, there is a shortage of workers...
