Kosovo fans have filled the streets of Bratislava a day before the World Cup play-off match, creating a festive atmosphere in the Slovak capital. Restaurants and cafés were packed with “Dardanians”, who sang traditional songs such as “Mora fjalë” and “Xhamadani vija-vija”, cheering and spreading their enthusiasm across the city centre. Numerous videos and photos quickly circulated on social media, showing the scale and presence of their support.

According to local media, Kosovo supporters could occupy up to 50% of the stadium capacity, with most tickets in the away section and first-category seats already sold out. The Slovak Football Association (SFZ) has denied concerns about a “takeover” and stressed that security is a priority. Identity checks will be carried out at the entrance, and Kosovo fans will be guided to designated away sections to avoid any issues.

The festive atmosphere and the enthusiasm of Kosovo fans clearly show the importance of this match for their country, turning the clash with Slovakia into a major event for Kosovar sports fans.
