Drenas, Lipjan, Obiliq, Klina, Vitia and Gjakova are the six winning municipalities of the municipal performance grant, worth around eight million euros.

Since its launch, the Municipal Performance Grants program has helped improve municipal services and governance for more than 700,000 citizens in 28 municipalities throughout Kosovo.

The Minister of Local Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi, said that they have taken several steps for the operation of the municipal performance grant scheme.

He emphasized that this year there are fewer beneficiary municipalities, but the projects are major.
