The blocking of roads by criminal groups in the north of the country, the attacks with firearms and shock bombs against the Kosovo Police, the attack with grenades against journalists and against the EULEX observation patrol, has tensed the situation in the north of the country and made impossible the freedom of the movement of citizens and the circulation of goods at the two Border Crossing Points Jarinje and Bërnjak. However, the security expert, Drizan Shala, estimates that this situation has the possibility and potential to escalate to a larger scale and directly threaten national security in the Republic of Kosovo.

Shala told Kosovapress that the tense situation comes from the wrong decision of the Government.
