Former member of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), Pjetër Shala has complained to the Special Court.

During the Appeal conference on Friday, Shala said that during the hearings when the final word was announced in July, they found 213 changed sentences; while he pointed out that he still does not have the decision in the Albanian language to see how his judgment has flowed since the beginning until the last three days.

He complained that he does not have the ruling against him available in the Albanian language, adding that they do not know how he was sentenced.

Meanwhile, the Presiding Judge of different Court of Appeals Panels, Michele Picard, said that the completed translations and editing of the translation are expected to be submitted at the end of October.

On July 16, 2024, former member of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Pjetër Shala was sentenced by the Special Court to 18 years of imprisonment for war crimes. /KosovaPress/
