Many Serbian citizens of the north of Mitrovica, owners of vehicles which they registered a long time ago with license plates of the Republic of Kosovo, are feeling threatened because during the last two nights someone has been putting stickers with Serbian license plates on their vehicles, thus covering those of Kosovo with the acronym RKS. A Serbian citizen, a well-known businessman in the north of Mitrovica, who spoke to KosovaPress (a name known to the editorial office), said that yesterday he had brought his "Mercedes-Benz S class" vehicle to the south of Mitrovica for security reasons. Many other Serbs, owners of vehicles with RKS license plates, had similar concerns, but refused to speak on camera. Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the Kosovo Police for the northern region, Branislav Radovic, informed KosovaPress that the police are dealing with these cases.
