SBAShK (United Union of Education, Science and Culture) has requested that the Law on Pension Schemes be changed so that teachers are recognized for their experience as contributors since the 90s.

The head of this union, Rrahman Jasharaj, in an interview for KosovaPress, stated that education workers are dissatisfied with the change in the law on pension schemes. According to Jasharaj, with this change, the work of all teachers in the 90s will not be counted as a pension, but only as a number.

Jasharaj indicated that as a union they have submitted their complaint to the People's Advocate and that they expect this matter to be addressed to the Constitutional Court so that all the work of the teachers is assessed as a pension.
