Kosovo national team will face Northern Ireland tonight in the third match in the League of Nations where Kosovo needs three points to maintain the pace of contenders for first place in the group. In the press conference before the match, coach Alain Giresse stated that he is not sure whether the striker Vedat Muriqi will attend Wednesday's training session, the striker from Prizren trained separately from the rest of the team, thus proving that he is not in the best condition to play, KosovaPress reports. From yesterday's training came another bad news for the French coach. FFK announced that Edon Zhegrova suffered an injury and left training. Meanwhile, today, a few hours before the match, the sports director of the Kosovo National Team, Muharrem Sahiti, told KosovaPress that the appearance of both players against Northern Ireland is in question. "The medical staff is still dealing with the players, doing the examinations. It is not yet known if they will be able to play. Everything remains unclear until shortly before the start of the match," Sahiti told KosovaPress.
