Sadiku and Bajoku represent Kosovo at the World Boxing Cup
The Kosovo boxing team has travelled today to an international training camp in Foz do Iguacu, Brazil. The camp includes female boxer Donjeta Sadiku in the 60 kg category and male boxer Shpëtim Bajoku in the 65 kg category, accompanied by coach Faton Xhakli and Marjola Sallauka.
During the period from April 8–18, the team will undergo intensive preparations at this international camp, which are considered highly important ahead of one of the biggest events in international boxing.
These preparations come ahead of participation in the prestigious “World Boxing Cup – Brazil 2026,” which will be held from April 19 to 27, 2026. This tournament is of particular importance as the points earned count toward qualification for the “Los Angeles 2028” Olympic Games.
