Reciprocity in license plates with Serbia has started to be applied at the border crossing in Merdare. Kosovo Police is not allowing any car with Serbian license plates to enter the country, as Serbia has for several years been forcing Kosovo citizens to equip their cars with temporary license plates to enter in Serbia. The KosovaPress team has seen closely how drivers coming from Serbia have been forced to replace license plates with temporary ones, but have not been allowed to take pictures.
