Rama: We will make Albania ready for the EU by 2030

The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama has pledged that within 2030 Albania will be ready for the European Union.

Prime Minister Rama made this statement in Luxembourg, adding that they are committed to the EU.

In a statement to the media before the intergovernmental conference between Albania and the EU, Prime Minister Rama stated that they have never given up on the European Union.

Peter Szijjarta, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, of Hungary also spoke before the media, who said that they would be happier to have the countries of the Western Balkans in the European Union, especially Albania.

The Albania-European Union intergovernmental conference will serve to open negotiations with the EU for the first group-chapter.
