Rama honors the cameraman Kllokoqi who showed the world the massacre of Reçak
The mayor of the capital, Përparim Rama, today
thanked the cameraman, Sylejman Kllokoqi, who filmed the Reçak massacre and
told the world about the horror of January 15, 1999.
At that time, Kllokoqi was a cameraman at the
Associated Press News Agency.
Mayor Rama said that he has the honor to thank
cameraman Kllokoqi for the work he did during the last war in Kosovo.
Kllokoqi narrated the whole story of his life
during the war in the book "In 7 Wars".
Sylejman Kllokoqi added that it is the first
time that he receives a reward from the institutions of Kosovo. And he called
this letter pf gratitude 'an Oscar'.
