Even the Municipal Assembly of Prishtina has commemorated the life and work of the Jashari family and the legendary commander Adem Jashari, for whom they said that Adem Jashari's endurance comes to them as if it were an echo of the courage of the legendary Prometheus.

The solemn session on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the KLA Epic began with a minute of silence. Meanwhile, in front of those present, the mayor of Prishtina Municipality, Përparim Rama, said the name of the legendary Adem Jashari reminds them of the values and ideals of our nation.

Fatmir Sopi, representative from WVA (War Veterans Association) in Pristina, said that freedom was won thanks to the Jashari family.

The Municipality of Prishtina has opened an exhibition today. Meanwhile, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow there will be other activities.

Prometheus is the figure of one of the most valuable products of Greek mythology. Prometheus belongs to the early warlike symbol for the progress and happiness of mankind. Prometheus steps onto the world stage through myth at the time when Zeus rises against the Titan Cronus to establish the new order. The Titans have defended the old power of Kronos, but Prometheus takes the side of Zeus, although he himself was a Titan, because he aimed at the new and just order of the world.
