Professor Krasniqi is suspended, student activists demand his dismissal
The Student Feminist Movement has reacted after the decision of the University of Pristina for professor Xhevat Krasniqi.
This movement is opposing the decision to suspend the same, saying that if Krasniqi is not expelled, the actions will escalate.
Activist Anita Mjeku stated that the decision of the Ethics Council is one-sided and violates the University's regulations.
At the conference in front of the rectory building, Mjeku emphasized that the decision was not made independently.
Moreover, Mjeku said that this decision is unacceptable, warning of other actions.
Professor Xhevat Krasniqi has been suspended from work, after the denunciation of sexual harassment by 27 students of the Faculty of Medicine.
This decision was taken after the recommendation of the UP Ethics Council.
