President Osmani meets with Canadian Prime Minister: New chapters of cooperation with Canada are being opened
The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani met with the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, with whom she talked about the deepening of interstate cooperation. Prime Minister Trudeau has congratulated President Osmani on her mandate to advance many of the values that matter to Canada. In this meeting, President Osmani spoke about the discourse, as she said, encouraged by Serbia, supported by the extension of Russian influence in the region.
The press release from the president's office states that the Canadian prime minister "stressed that the President's firm stance on democracy and anti-corruption, progressive views on either the environment or the empowerment of women, are areas in which Canada expects to work with Kosovo."
