The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, on the 22nd anniversary of the murder, commemorated the hero Ekrem Rexha - Commander Drini. "Commander Drini was the man who tried to continue his contribution to the war in the ranks of the KLA after the war in peace building. Unfortunately, his activity for the good of the country was violently interrupted 22 years ago. Kosovo lost the man who demonstrated will and love for this country. His figure will be eternally honored. The greatest honor for him will be when the perpetrators are brought to justice", it is said in the commemoration of President Osmani.
