The ruling party, Vetëvendosje, has reiterated that there will be no political discussions on the regulation of the Central Bank of Kosovo in Brussels, within the dialogue with Serbia. According to them, the only form of discussion about the decision on the dinar can be to find facilities for the Serbian community in Kosovo to accept the funds from Serbia. The two opposition parties, PDK and AAK, are categorically against the discussion in Brussels about the CBK regulation.

The head of the VV Parliamentary Group, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, said that the only way to deal with the CBK regulation is to find facilities for opening bank accounts for the citizens of the Serbian community in Kosovo. Kusari-Lila also reiterated that the continuation of punitive measures against Kosovo by the EU is meaningless.

The head of the PDK Parliamentary Group, Abelard Tahiri, spoke against the political discussions about the CBK regulation in Brussels, who said that if such a thing were to happen, it would be the greatest damage that could be done to Kosovo.

Tahiri again criticized Prime Minister Albin Kurti for not appearing at the EU-Western Balkans summit, which was held on Thursday in Tirana.

Meanwhile, the head of AAK Parliamentary Group, Besnik Tahiri, said that the euro is the only currency in Kosovo and that the decision to ban the Serbian dinar in Kosovo should not be part of the Brussels negotiations.

He made these comments after the meeting of the Presidency of the Assembly, where it was decided that the next regular session will be held on March 7.

Meanwhile, it was announced that on March 5, a special session will be held in honor of the 26th anniversary of the KLA Epopee. /KosovaPress/
