The Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, Liburn Aliu, was once again absent from the Committee for Oversight of Public Finances. The latter was invited to report on the performance audit report "Procurements negotiated without publication of the contract notice in the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure in 2021". The meeting of this commission was followed by debates between the opposition and the position, where the opposition MPs requested that this report be reviewed in a plenary session, but such a thing was opposed by the Vetëvendosje Movement.

The chairman of the Committee, Hykmete Bajrami, stated that even in the report of the European Commission, it is stated that over 78 million euros are contracts negotiated in the last 12 months.

Meanwhile, Vetëvendosje MP, Halil Thaqi, said that he will not vote for this report, as according to him, without the minister's discussion, it should not be sent to the session.

The AAK MP, Albana Bytyqi, reacted to this, who told her that they wrote her speech and that she is being a "deceiver".

I would suggest to you to raise your hand and don't become a deceiver and vote and send the report to the session," she said.

The debate between Bytyqi and Thaqi continued even further, where the latter also mentioned the scandal of 53 million euros.

Bytyqi said that the Energy Corporation of Kosovo is his weakness, where according to her the MP of VV has employed family members.

The chairman of the committee, Hykmete Bajrami, was involved in the debate between Thaqi and Bytyqi, who said that the privatization process is continuing.

Thaqi said that if Bajrami has such information, he should be invited by the State Prosecutor's Office for an interview.

PDK MP Hajdar Beqa said that Minister Liburn Aliu is running away from this situation due to the findings of the report.

The debates between the opposition and the position have continued even further, while the Vetëvendosje MPs have not supported the proposal that this report be sent to the plenary session for review. /Sh. Pajaziti
