Kosovo Police in the early hours of this morning has undertaken an action in the north of Mitrovica against cryptocurrency mining. Sources of KosovaPress inform that from this action the police have seized equipment for the production of cryptocurrencies, weapons and marijuana. KosovaPress has constantly tried to contact the police spokesman in the south of Mitrovica, but he did not answer the calls. Also, today KosovaPress has reported exclusively regarding the action that took place in the north of the country. We recall that on January 4 this year, the Minister of Economy in Kosovo, Artane Rizvanolli announced the decision of the Government to ban the production of cryptocurrencies throughout the country. This decision came as a result of the energy crisis.
