Police at border crossings, Sveçla: The situation is calm
The Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla has given a statement about the numerous police forces at the border crossings, which has to do with the reciprocity process towards Serbia that is expected to start today regarding the license plates of vehicles. Sveçla says that the Kosovo Police in the framework of the activity and the purpose of maintaining public and constitutional order is carrying out actions at all border crossings, actions which aim to implement the agreement on free movement - specifically, regarding vehicle license plates.
He said that the situation at the border crossings is calm and that the Kosovo Police has taken all necessary operational and logistical measures not to hinder and delay the movement of people and goods.
