Plastic bags are still free of charge, even though it was said that the decision to pay for them would be made from January. The Deputy Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, Linda Çavdarbasha, says that changes are being made to the administrative instruction, which will soon be discussed publicly, and then approved by the executive.

In the interview for KosovaPress, she says that last year they worked on the study for the reduction of plastic bags and after that an administrative group was formed to work on the administrative instruction for packaging and their waste.
