The Mayor of the Municipality of Prishtina, Përparim Rama, highly appreciated the role and contribution of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair in the struggle of the Albanian people for freedom and independence on the 25th anniversary of liberation.

After the meeting with the former British Prime Minister, to whom he gave the "Key to the City" and "Honorary Citizen of the Capital" awards, he said it was a pleasure to have received a great world personality like Tony Blair at the meeting.

Former Prime Minister Blair has expressed his gratitude for the distribution of awards by the mayor of Prishtina, Përparim Rama, as he has expressed his belief that Kosovo has a bright future as an independent state.
