A fatal accident occurred on Wednesday evening in Prizren, where a pedestrian lost their life after being hit by a vehicle.

According to the police, the suspect, while driving, is believed to have struck the victim at a pedestrian crossing due to negligence.

The victim died in the hospital as a result of serious injuries, KosovaPress reports.

The driver has been arrested and, by the prosecutor’s decision, has been taken into custody, while the case is under investigation.
