The Democratic Party of Kosovo has found that the new plan proposed by the Mayor of Prishtina, Përparim Rama, for the neighborhood "Kalabria" aims at the alienation of public property and high-rise buildings, through which it is being tried to smuggle public property at the expense of the residents of this neighborhood.

The previous plan for this neighborhood was canceled at the request of Rama, with the reasoning that the current plan does not address the needs and demands of the neighborhood, and that the new plan will bring an even better plan.

The head of PDK assembly members, Leutrim Ratkoceri, said that Rama is showing that he has turned into a design office that does not see public property as space for citizens, but as land for construction.

According to him, this plan degrades the lives of citizens in "Kalabria" neighborhood and favors only construction companies.

Meanwhile, PDK MP Eliza Hoxha added that Rama, on behalf of the residents, has used this moment to turn all public properties into areas for mixed services, in the interest of construction companies and small interest groups.

PDK MP, Hoxha has invited all assembly members of the Municipal Assembly, not only PDK, to influence the improvement of this plan for the citizens and the public interest.
