On July 3, the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) will elect a new chairman. The candidate who intends to run for the PDK leadership has time until July 1 to announce his candidacy. This is based on the status of the party. PDK says that "The working group of the Convention welcomes all candidates to contribute to the best possible preparation of the Convention". The day before the Convention, a joint meeting will be held with all the candidates to acquaint them with the preparations that have been made, the statutory rules and the agenda of the election day.
