Pandemic wreaks havoc, about 40,000 people lost their jobs in Kosovo

Since March of this year, when the Covid-19 pandemic started, it is believed that about 40 thousand people have lost their jobs in Kosovo, and that if this trend continues, the number of those who will lose their jobs due to the pandemic will increase to 60 thousand. This was stated for KosovaPress by the President of the Independent Trade Union of the Private Sector of Kosovo, Jusuf Azemi, who said that the figure of 40 thousand unemployed is recorded by the end of June, while by the end of September it can increase by another 20 thousand.
