The Acting Head of the EU Office in Kosovo, Eva Palatova, welcomed the orderly and inclusive conduct of the second round of mayoral elections in 18 municipalities of Kosovo, marking the conclusion of the local election cycle, describing it as evidence of democracy in Kosovo.

Meanwhile, elections were held yesterday in 18 municipalities, and according to security institutions and the Central Election Commission (CEC), there were no incidents that could have affected the results. So far, the prosecution has reported that three individuals related to the electoral process have been arrested.

A total of 1,316,672 citizens in Kosovo were eligible to vote, of whom 432,107 cast their ballots, representing a turnout of 32.82%.
