Over 72 thousand euros of smuggled goods confiscated and three suspects arrested in Prizren
Kosovo Customs with the authorization of the Basic Prosecution in Prizren has conducted an action where it has confiscated mobile phones and accessories in the amount of over 72 thousand euros, while three people have been arrested. In a press release it is announced that after several months of investigation, Kosovo Customs units have raided seven different locations in Prizren where it was suspected that smuggled goods were kept.
"Various goods were found (mobile phones, spare parts for phones and accessories) without origin / accompanying documentation, smuggled. After the evaluation of the goods, it was concluded that the value of the goods is 72,179.26 euros, while the evasion from customs duties is 21,509.41 euros", it is said in the communiqué...
