Over 40 Italian businesses are showcasing their products and work at the international fair “Klik Ekspo Group” in Tirana. Out of a total of 250 participating businesses, 170 are foreign companies from various countries around the world.
The representative of the Italian Chamber of Commerce “FederCamere,” Riccardo Bertinetti, stated that Albania has great potential for economic growth.
“It must be acknowledged that Albania is a country which, geographically, historically, and in this particular historical moment, has such a potential for exchange that represents an unlimited part of this potential. So, there are wide opportunities for growth and improvement, but I am sure we will be able to seize them together,” he said.During these days, he added that they have held meetings and discussions with entrepreneurs from various Albanian and international businesses.
He explained that his company builds plants for metal braiding.
“It’s our first time coming and participating here in Tirana, at the fair, also thanks to the acquaintance of several clients we have here in Albania, who asked us to be present. Also, because it’s quite a general fair with diverse products. But we think it could be a starting point to continue developing our product here in Albania, and in general in the Balkans. It’s a family business — we are 13 people — based in Milan, northern Italy. We already have an agency here in Tirana that offers us great commercial support and service. So, we think it’s a good starting point. We are investing a lot, not only in the Albanian market, but also across the Balkans — Montenegro, Albania, and especially Kosovo. Because not only Albania will continue to develop more infrastructures, but Kosovo as well is working very well in the civil sector, building major works. Just look at the roads, both in Albania and Kosovo — these infrastructures are developing rapidly. Therefore, it’s better to be present from the start,” he said.
For the first time, the Slovenian company “BELMET MI,” which provides equipment and services for railway contact network electrification, is also participating in the fair. Matjaz Marinko from this company said they are in Albania to showcase their experience in this field.“We heard that you have many great projects for electrification, and that’s why we are here, because we have a lot of experience in this field… In general, in Slovenia and with our partner companies worldwide — across Europe — some of them are already 100 years old, so we are talking about very high quality and extensive experience. This is a unique opportunity to present ourselves. There are many people, many visitors — we had many good meetings yesterday and we hope this story will continue with satisfaction for everyone,” he emphasized.
The “Klik Ekspo Group” International Fair began on Wednesday and will close tomorrow. On the second floor of the Palace of Congresses, the KosovaPress News Agency also has its own booth.
This is the 31st edition of the fair, held under the motto “A Window to the Future,” focusing on sustainable development – “Albania 2030.”
