As part of her working visit to Singapore, President Vjosa Osmani was received by the President of Singapore, Halimah Yacob. Despite the long geographical distance, Osmani stressed that Kosovo is interested in intensifying relations with this country of Southeast Asia, especially knowing the potential of trade cooperation. In the context of deepening relations with this country, President Osmani emphasized that Singapore has made tremendous progress in technology and defense, and has shown readiness for focused cooperation in these areas. According to President Osmani, this cooperation should be extended to other areas, such as education, energy, and many other areas. The President also presented the potential of Kosovo, as an investment opportunity from Singapore and in this context mentioned, among others the young and dynamic population, labor market with cost effective and numerous incentives for foreign investors. The meeting was also attended by the Minister of State for Development and Foreign Policy, Sim Ann.
