Speaking during a discussion on Thursday at Johns Hopkins University in Washington, the head of state said that President Donald Trump was very clear in his statements and that he has made an extraordinary contribution recently in stopping Serbia in its actions against Kosovo.
“We are stepping up efforts through our defense, through our defense capabilities, security institutions. But at the same time, we have the continuous support of the United States, and President Trump was very clear that he was the one who stopped Serbia was going to go at it… Yes, he is very clear in his statement that he's talking about the last couple of weeks. He's not talking about the 2020 Washington agreement, which was also President Trump's contribution. He's also not talking about the Banjska attack, the act of aggression of 2023, but he was very clear in his statements, and you know, for those of us that read our security briefings every single day, and we're not allowed to say more. But it's obvious also from president Trump statements that he has given an enormous contribution in stopping a destabilization of our region also in very recent, very recent weeks, so I'm very certain that, it has of course been stopped with America's role, and his direct involvement in preserving and protecting peace”, she said.
Three weeks ago, US President Donald Trump stated that Iran and Israel should reach an agreement, similar to India and Pakistan, to avoid direct military conflict, while recalling how during his first term, Kosovo and Serbia were heading toward war, but that was stopped by his administration.
