The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Donika Gërvalla, as well as the Minister of Defense, Armend Mehaj, during their visit to Canada, in the International Security Forum in Halifax met a delegation of the U.S. Senate composed of Senators Jeanne Shaheen, Joni Ernst, Chris Coons and James Risch. President Osmani thanked the American senators for the support that the United States has given and is giving to our country and emphasized that the relations with this friendly country are existential and strategic. She assessed that Kosovo is a successful example of the American support.
