Osmani on the "new framework" of the dialogue: Ideas that do not bring mutual recognition do not contribute to long-term peace
President Vjosa Osmani stated that ideas or half-solutions that do not contribute to achieving mutual recognition between Kosovo and Serbia do not bring long-term peace and stability to the Western Balkans.
At the joint press conference after the
meeting with her Hungarian counterpart, Katalin Novak, Osmani said that they
welcome the commitment of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and French President
Emmanuel Macron for dialogue and peace in the region.
She said that the visit of the two
Franco-German advisers shows the intention for dynamism of the dialogue
process.
Speaking about the announcement for a
"new framework" of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, which so far only
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has spoken about but without giving many
details, Osmani said that Kosovo's position remains the same that only mutual
recognition is the solution forward.
