The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani Sadriu met with the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani during her official visit to Doha. President Osmani thanked the Emir for the excellent relations between our two countries and expressed her readiness to deepen diplomatic, economic and trade cooperation. In addition, the President briefed the Emir on overall progress in Kosovo, including the agriculture, tourism and infrastructure sectors as potential areas for investment by the State of Qatar. According to a Presidency statement, Osmani is staying in Doha, Qatar to attend the twentieth edition of the Doha Forum which has brought together world leaders, policymakers, scholars and civil society representatives to discuss the steps forward following the developments caused by pandemic in all aspects of life and recent geopolitical developments, including the war in Ukraine.
