The country's president, Vjosa Osmani, has said that Kosovo's institutions are in coordination with NATO for the entire territory of Kosovo and that specific parts such as the north of the country are not discussed.
She said that Kosovo is indivisible and according to her, coordination with the largest military alliance should be seen as something positive.
In marking the Day of Force at the "Adem Jashari Barracks", she told reporters that Kosovo has a place in NATO and that they are in talks with four member states that do not recognize Kosovo so that they do not prevent Kosovo from membership in the Partnership for Peace, which is a prerequisite for joining NATO.
