The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani received today the President of the Council of Europe, Charles Michel. After more than an hour of discussions, President Osmani asked Michell for a decision on visa liberalization for Kosovo, but the latter did not give much hope, as he repeated the phrase that the decision for such a thing belongs to the member states separately. The President of the EC focused more on the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, for which he insisted on the implementation of past agreements with Serbia. Meanwhile, he asked Kosovo to be included in regional initiatives for the implementation of the common regional market. At the joint press conference, Vjosa Osmani said that she does not know if visa liberalization can happen at the meeting of the EU Council of Ministers on June 23, despite the maximum commitment of Kosovo.
