The president of the country, Vjosa Osmani, has repeated the call for the removal of punitive measures against Kosovo.

Through a post on her account on the X platform, Osmani thanked the chairmen of the parliamentary committees of 13 European countries who issued a request to the EU High Representative for Foreign Policy, Josep Borrell, and to the EU emissary for Kosovo - Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.

Through this letter, they requested that the punitive measures against Kosovo be removed.

Even Osmani has said that the measures imposed by the EU on Kosovo should be removed, which she said are unfair.

"Thank you Alicia Kearns and all the other leaders across Europe for your support. Peace and security thrive because responsibility and justice are brought into focus. The unfair measures against Kosovo must be removed!” Osmani wrote.
